Innovation is the new idea, device or method; it is also viewed as the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs or existing market needs. Innovation is a new idea to bring something new in a society, in order to have new idea it must be kept into principles so as to be accepted by the society.

5 ways to be innovative in the digital age

1.      Become a better creator of ideas and content

Creation requires filters and organizers, and strong creative skills lead to more innovative ideas. One is suppose to create a mental filter so as to choose what is relevant to you, and then organize key information within a context. Therefore, you need to approach your daily consumption of content as a researcher would with awareness and strategy

2.      Diversity your mind

Be a person that read different popular articles and with the most comments. Make sure you have an effort to broaden your horizons. If you attend the same conference every year, then try a different one, so the best ideas come from crosspollination where you apply lessons from one industry to another unrelated one.

3.      Skip the summary and read the article

Technology allows us to access so much information that it can be tempting to just read the executive summary  or to glance over an article .And, many times that is a great way to quickly get what you need. However, innovative thinking requires a certain level of mastery, and mastery is found by going deeper  than superficial  skimming. It could be a particular line in a paragraph which triggers your new idea rather than the gist of the piece.

4.      Use technology mindfully and strategically

As humans, we are creatures of habit and memory. However, innovation requires a combination of inspiration and strategy. Think about how and why you use technology in the way you do, also sometimes changing a simple pattern can lead to more creativity.

5.      Learn to articulate your ideas better

The cornerstone of innovation is communication, if you cannot articulate your ideas and if you struggle with language, you will not be able to engage in a discourse of value. Smart conversations are often what make last for a very short time.

Generally, innovation is very important in digital age so as to attract people to visit what you have posted. Also makes people get new knowledge.
