To become corporate communication officer does not need to own a large company or an institution NO you can be corporate communication officer within a group of 5 to 10 people. You have to be presentable to your   fellow members. Also every day try to learn a new thing and share with your members. Try to motivate them to have new idea before they go to bed and have a new idea when they wake up. As a corporate communication officer make sure whatever you speak is very true because he or she is responsible for company or institution’s communication with different target audiences including customers, journalists, investors, suppliers and the community this create positive reputation to the company. Also they advise other employees and managers on communication tasks.

Moreover, corporate communication officer does different activities such as research, press relations, makes publications and advice.

However, you can also become corporate communication officer in companies or institutions. The Corporate communication officers can do the following to improve on how their companies communicate.

First, Recruit talented, senior-level communications executives with solid business skills and deep knowledge of the company’s products and processes, whereby companies need to give communications chiefs the titles, reporting relationships, access and resources to be effective company wide. Communications professionals like to express their ability to be quick studies.

Second, learn to trust and understand the communication functions. This means the management cannot get away with listening to its communication leaders with half an ear. Companies need to learn more about communications consequences of their actions and not treat like a foreign language.

Third, let communication leader’s advice and educate others within the company. Communications execs need to help other leaders understand why they are important. Good communications chiefs recognize that part of their job is representing communications to senior management.

Fourth, eliminate command and control communication. The best companies are transparent and when they are wrong, they promptly admit it rather than hide behind corporate speak. Also closing ranks can be dangerous in digital age, but it is a most common reaction when things go wrong. You have to apologize, take responsibility and do what is necessary to right the wrong.

Fifth, let employees be ambassadors, do not gag them on social media. Smart, far-sighted companies recognize that if employees are using social media you might as well tap that power by giving them information about the company’s vision, goals and what it is doing and allow them to spread that positive message online.

Generally, corporate communication officer must be involved in the internet access whereby he can be able to get a lot of information of what is going on around the world. Also through internet corporate communication officer can be able to get knowledge of different things. Good communication skills must be applied and make sure whatever you speak out must make sense and people get the exactly message what you intended them to get, also make sure the type of audience that you communicate with.
