VIRTUAL COMMUNITY

The traditional definition of a community is of geographical circumscribe entity ( neighborhood, village etc.) virtual communities are usually dispersed geographically and therefore are not communities under the original definition. Some online communities are linked geographically and are known as community websites, however if one considers community to simply posses boundaries of some sought between their members and non- members, then a virtual community is certainly a community. Virtual community resembles real life communities in the sense that they both provide support, information, friendships and acceptance between strangers.

A virtual community is a community of people sharing common interest ideas and feelings over the internet. But According to Reign Gold virtual community is a community whereby there are social aggregation emerge from the internet when enough people carry on those publics long enough with sufficient human feelings to form webs of personal relationship in the cyber space. Virtual community is the network which work within the social network of an individual by any specific media and which have no limits about geographical area or political restrictions. The virtual aim of the virtual community is to achieve socialization.

As we know the most popular communities of exchange views, ideas, and achieve socialization is through virtual community which consist of various online communities. This type of community are used for a variety of social and professional groups. From this community were promoted as a business model Ea-business or Ea-commerce. This type of community is still perfect to listen to customers.  Virtual community organizes and bring together individuals, groups and businesses in cyber space around common interest or purpose. The manner in which a virtual community develops must be directed by the organic need of its members. In simply define virtue community as “a collection of individuals who form a bound through internet communication.”

 In other words a virtual community is less geographical disperse community of people and organization connected via internet or other net work are called world web or virtual world or virtual community. Today the world is connected in virtual world and this virtual world interactive of all virtual community forms. This type of community people are connected by living as an adventure in computer based world.

People have been using online spaces since the beginning of the internet to communicate. Many found that they began to form bonds of one sought of another. People do many activities online such as socializing, working together (business community geographic), having tropical conversation.

 In conclusion the virtual community represent a wide range of interest and motivation. But the rate of the growth of internet has lead to speculation on the effect of online activities on our offline lives. Virtual communities are used for a variety social and professional groups, interaction between community members vary from personal to purely formal. For example an Email distribution list operates on an informational level. A virtual community is a social network of individuals who interacts between specific social media potentially crossing geographical and political boundaries in order to pursue mutual interest or goals.\
